Give your sponsors something they can count
Fan Offers puts a sponsor’s deal inside your club’s app, in front of a group you choose, with a redemption you can actually report on.
Not a logo. A result.

When a sponsor asks what their money bought, most clubs cannot answer
Ask a club sponsor what they got for their money and most will say something generous about supporting the club.
That is a kind answer. It is not a commercial one, and it is why sponsorship is often the first line a business cuts in a tight year.
The problem is not the sign on the fence. The problem is that nobody can say what the sign did. How many people saw it. Whether one of them ever walked through the door. So the renewal conversation runs on goodwill, and goodwill has a limit.
Meanwhile the channel most clubs fall back on to give a sponsor some extra exposure reaches about 5.2% of a page’s followers on an average post, measured monthly across 2026 by Social Status.
What are Fan Offers?
A Fan Offer is a sponsor’s deal, published inside your club’s app, redeemed on a supporter’s phone.
The club builds it in Mission Control: the sponsor’s name, the offer, the terms, the artwork, the dates. Supporters find it in the app or by scanning a QR code at the ground. They tap to redeem, show the screen at the counter, and that redemption is recorded.
It is the digital version of showing a membership card for a discount, except the club can see what happened.
Every offer is set up to suit the deal
Nine things the club controls, per offer.
Who the sponsor is
Company name sits alongside the offer, so the sponsor is credited on every impression rather than buried in a logo strip.
What it is worth, and to whom
A short redemption description supporters actually read, and a full terms and conditions block for everything a sponsor’s legal team needs on the record.
When it runs
Valid from and valid to dates. Offers open and close on their own, so nothing has to be pulled down manually on a Monday morning.
Whether it costs points
Set an offer to zero points and it is free to anyone. Set a points cost and it becomes a reward, redeemable by supporters who have earned it.
How often it can be claimed
A cooldown between redemptions, set in weeks, days, hours, minutes or seconds. One coffee a week rather than one coffee a season, without anyone policing it.
How long the code stays live
Redemption validity in minutes, so a QR code expires shortly after it is opened. That is what stops an offer being screenshotted and passed around a group chat.
How it is redeemed
A dynamic QR code generated for each redemption, or a fixed code the supporter presents. QR for anything where the number matters, fixed code where the sponsor’s till cannot scan.
Whether it is live
An active toggle. Turn an offer off without deleting it, and turn it back on next season.
How it is grouped
Tags, so offers can be sorted and surfaced by category rather than sitting in one long list.
The offer image has two zones
Design the top. Leave the bottom clear.
Top 1200px is yours
Photo, headline, branding, full-bleed. It can be a still, an animation or a video. All three work.
Bottom 720px belongs to the app
It draws the Offer Details and Redeem buttons over your image, so anything placed there gets covered.
Three things make the difference between artwork that looks native and artwork that looks like an ad that wandered in:
Fade the bottom to white. The buttons are dark on light, so a light lower third keeps them readable. For video, make the lower portion light throughout the loop rather than only on the final frame.
Keep faces and logos high. Do not centre a face vertically. The buttons will land on it.
Say the important thing up top. The offer should read from the top portion alone.
The second asset is a launch tile at 500 × 200, the tile a supporter taps to open the offer. One message, large type, and key content kept inside a safe margin so rounded corners do not clip it.
Both assets can be uploaded directly or pulled from the CMS, so a sponsor’s artwork is stored once and reused all season.
Send this to whoever is making the image
Download the Offer Image Guide (PDF) has the diagrams, the full spec and a one-page brief you can forward to a sponsor’s designer without writing an email.
The Redemptions tab is the whole argument
Every offer has a redemptions view sitting beside its configuration.
That is the difference between selling exposure and selling a response. A club can go back to a sponsor with what the offer did rather than how many people might have driven past a sign.
What a sponsor report looks like
Sponsor
Offer
Dates it ran
The group it went to
How many redeemed
Where those redemptions came from
Send it the week the offer closes rather than at renewal time. A sponsor who sees the numbers in round nine treats the March conversation very differently to one who hears nothing until the invoice.
You are no longer selling space
A fence sign is worth what a fence sign is worth, and it is fine as an entry tier. What sits above it now is different: access to a defined group, with a measurable action at the end of it.
That is a package rather than a placement, and packages can be tiered.
The structure that works for most clubs is two or three levels.
Signage at the bottom
Signage plus in-app presence in the middle
Offers, sponsored push and reporting at the top
The Digital Sponsor Playbook has a tiered framework and a pricing worksheet you can fill in for your own club.
More than a matchday voucher
A sponsor promotion
The local café, the physio, the tyre place. An offer with a window, pushed on a Saturday morning, redeemed at the counter.
A member benefit
An offer restricted to people with an account, which gives supporters a reason to have one and gives the sponsor a defined audience rather than the general public.
A loyalty reward
Points-gated, so it goes to supporters who have turned up, checked in or engaged. The offer becomes the thing points are for.
A corporate arrangement
A partner business extending a staff rate to your members, or your club extending one to theirs. The terms field handles the detail, the tags keep it separate from matchday offers.
A season-long program
Several sponsors, several offers, each with its own dates and its own numbers, all reportable.
Offers work because the club knows who it is talking to
Fan Offers sit on top of Fan Accounts. The account is what makes a group definable, a member-only offer possible, and a redemption attributable to a person rather than a device.
Underneath both is the same argument the rest of this site makes: social media is the invite, your app is the clubhouse. A sponsor offer is one of the better reasons to walk somebody from one to the other.
