A match timer that follows the actual flow of a game.
The clock counts up from kick-off. Periods step through pre-game, first half, half time, second half, extra time and penalties when needed. You tell the app when each period ends, so a stoppage, a delay or an early call doesn't break the timer.
Penalty shootouts, handled properly.
In the soccer context: a full shootout flow with five kicks per side, then sudden death if it goes that far. Each kick is recorded against a player with a goal or miss. The app declares the winner when the maths is settled. (More sports coming soon.)
